and it was such a great film. Everybody should see it. Okay, not everybody since I think 90% of the population or more would not like it.
I like it because:
+ beautiful colors
+ natural sounds (no songs or anything, besides a few classical pieces of Beethoven)
+ way it's directed/ shot. I like the views and
+ how they show multiple points of view from the same time and you can see how people's lives are intertwined, and see things from multiple points of view, but not the same exact thing, because they overlap but they also move forward
reminds me of Amélie because of the colors, music, and way it's directed. it's all different, though. but Amelie has that distinct jade color and twinkly-ish music and there are a lot of close upward, talk to camera moments. but they are similar somehow. hmm.

Wow, well I sort of read the plot (like, hastily glanced over it) before I watched this and knew it had something to do with the Columbine HS massacre. Also I've been wanting to watch this movie for at least a year, when I first saw the icons at

grarpirates. Somehow, I thought the film would focus around the blonde boy because he was the one I'd seen in ALL the icons of
Elephant but... it doesn't. There are lots of other characters. I did not know that this was part of a death series! I'll have to watch the other three films as well.
